Signing the Books
To be considered for job opportunities, an in-person signing is required once a calendar year. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
For Inside Wireman calls, and to bid on a job, please contact the hotline at 541-664-0802, and press Option #8 starting at 5:00 PM. If you wish to accept a call, please leave your long or short call number and the dispatcher will call you the following morning. All open calls, that are not accepted in a 48-hour period, are posted on our website. If you wish to accept an open call, please reach out to the Dispatcher Steven Neahr if you have any questions.
Re-signing the books
Inside Wiremen can re-sign the books all month long. You can either call the Hall at 541-664-0800 or Email at dispatch@ibew659.org
Certifications and Documents
Please bring any certifications that may be applied to your trade. This may include the following.
- Oregon electrician license
- California electrician license
- First aid and CPR
- OSHA 10, 20, or 30
- Current dues receipt and Letter of Introduction (if member is from another Local)
- Any additional Certifications you may have
All certifications provided to union hall shall be maintained by member and it is the member’s responsibility to notify of changes or updates that may occur.
This includes all Inside Construction CBAs; Inside Wireman, Material Handler/Lighting Maintenance, Residential, and Sound & Communications.
