Resign Policy

AVAILABLE FOR WORK LIST:

          Applicants who are in compliance with the requirements of Article III will be required to register information on Books supplied by the Dispatcher.

          Original sign in may be done by phone, mail or in person.

Removal from the available-for work list will occur when:

1.                     Applicant fails to update his or her name on the Book within 30 days of his or her last update.  (Updating can be by phone, mail or in person.)  Original date remains until removed from list.

2.                     Applicant has been dispatched for over 40 hours.

3.                     Applicant has been unavailable for or turned down three (3) job offers.

4.                     Applicant voluntarily removes him or herself from the available list.

Applicants are responsible for keeping the Dispatcher informed, in writing of any change of address and/or telephone number where they can be reached.

REGULAR DISPATCH HOURS:                                                     9:00 a.m. until noon

                                                                                            Monday through Friday

All applicants can sign only one (1) out-of-work list.  This will require original registration by phone, mail or in person at the Union Office, 4480 Rogue Valley Hwy #3, Central Point, Oregon.  Hours are Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m. until noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on the 1^st Saturday of the month when open (call before you come) from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
